NEWS ABOUT TEA
TEA 12.0, 01 february 2006
http://tea.linux.kiev.ua

Here we are. Me and my antisocial dog Punk The Puppy (labrador/dalmatin) proud to present you TEA 12.0.
Ukrainian, German, Czech and Russian translations were updated. Thanks to Zbynek Mrkvicka, Tobias Toedter, Vlad Svetlichny and myself. Russian documentation is old as usual - I've updated it at the summer'2005 last time. Give me some more time for that task. Some more time and inspiration.
LaTeX users, please notice that LaTeX menu has moved to the Functions menu.
See a lot of new stuff in the Edit - Marking menu. For example, the "Mark by regexp" function. It is very close to the text search, but marks all founded words (according to the regular expression). Or, people those working with .po-files possibly will be glade to another one function - "Mark all fuzzy and empty translations".
Personally I don't use the "Lorem ipsum" text, and, more of that, I don't know the translation. But now TEA can insert thet famous "Lorem ipsum" into the text (see Function - Insert).
In the Search menu you can find the "Find in files" utility. It has a very raw, unpolished interface (will be better soon), but very usable. It's not just an analog of grep or something like that. "Find in files" searches the text with ALL encodings that included to the charset list at the File Open dialog window.
There are some more new stuff (see the changelog) and bugfixes (you can feel it using TEA). Thanks.
